We are almost at the end of the series on modal verbs. This is the eight post and today we're going to look at how to use "might" in English. We use "might" to talk about: 1. Possibility He might be in a meeting. I might be a few minutes late. We might never know what happened. 2. Permission (formal) Might I make a suggestion? I wonder if I might go home early. 3. Polite suggestion You might like to go for a walk around the gardens. I thought we might watch a film this evening. 4. Annoyance You might at least say thank you. He might have asked me what I wanted before deciding for both of us. 5. But ... is also true He might be young but he's very mature. It might but cold but the snow is really beautiful.
